A new perspective on human reproduction

  It is not a secret that problems with reproductive health are one of the main problems of demographic situation worsening and population's health in general. Mainly it is connected with the health state of young people. The scientists of the whole world conduct researches in this sphere.
  The other direction in this problem solving is the prophylactics and popularization of responsible attitude to your own health. Recently a famous Croatian doctor Antun Lisets shared his views and opinion on this topic with the students of Rivne medical college. The lecture was extremely interesting and informative.

   Brain-ring in Genetics

  On the 26th of April at International Economics and Humanities University after academician S.Demianchuk the brain-ring in Genetics was conducted among the students of natural-geographic department of International Economics and Humanities University and the students of Rivne medical college. The team of Rivne medical college Knights of genetics was better than the team of International Economics and Humanities University Cell, and our team was the winner.
   The participants of this brain-ring were noted with diplomas and souvenirs. The organizers of this tournament and the participants hope that it will become a good tradition to conduct it.

   A visit of delegation from Poland

  One more visit of the delegation from Poland took place in terms of international cooperation in education sphere. The administration of Rivne medical college actively prepares for a new education programme, which will give Polish students an opportunity to increase their qualification level in Ukrainian educational establishments, and for Ukrainian students to be employed in Poland according to their specialty. This also opens for our students the perspective to work in the European Union.

   Celebrating the greatest religious holiday Easter

  These days we are celebrating the greatest Christian holiday Easter. The educational hour on the topic Easter bells rang was dedicated to this great holiday. The students of the II year of Laboratory diagnostics department with their curator Red'ko Oleg Volodymyrovych organized this activity. The priest Kochubey Oleg Volodymyrovych, the college librarian Karpenko Tamara Naumivna and college teachers and students took part in the celebration.

   Demonstrative theoretical lesson in Stomatology

  On the 10th of April, 2012 the teacher of Therapeutic Stomatology of the Stomatology department, dentist Lysytsia Dmytro Leonidovych conducted a demonstrative theoretical lesson with the students of III year of Stomatology department on the topic: Periodontitis' treatment principles. Instrumental and medication root canal treatment. At the lecture the questions of etiology, pathogenesis, and periodontitis diseases classification were highlighted. During the second part of the lesson Dmytro Leonidovych demonstrated master-class on the instrumental and medication root canal treatment. The students were really interested in the topic as they asked a lot of questions.

   Cross track among the higher educational establishments of I-IV accreditation levels

  On the 5th of April in Rivne in the park named after T.G.Shevchenko the cross track among the higher educational establishments of I-IV accreditation levels took place.
  36 students defended the honor of our college: 18 students from the department Nursing Affair, 7 students from the department Pharmacy-bachelors, 7 students from the department Curative Affair, 2 students from Stomatology department, and 1 student from Dental hygienist specialty and 1 student from the department Medico-prophylactic Affair.
  On the competition day the participants competed in the distances: 1000 meters (boys and girls), 2000 meters (boys and girls), 3000 meters (boys). Our student Kaluzha Olga was the second and won the silver prize in the distance of 2000 meters. In general, our college team won the third team place among the higher educational establishments of I-IV accreditation levels.

   Continuing international cooperation

Continuing international cooperation from 30.03. till 3.04.2012 Rivne medical college director, doctor of medical sciences, professor, Honored Doctor of Ukraine Sabadyshyn Rostyslav Oleksiyovych visited Poland. R.O.Sabadyshyn visited the educational establishments similar to medical colleges in Ukraine, studied the peculiarities of the medical workers training at Polish medical schools. The series of lectures were conducted, and the report at the meeting of pharmaceutical association about the medical workers training in Ukraine was done, our director also emphasized on the advantages of Polish students' studies at Rivne medical college. Poland was greatly interested in the possibility of further studies for Polish students in Ukrainian medical educational establishments. So, according to the agreement among Poland and Ukraine About the recognition of educational papers there are many perspectives of exchange programmes between Poland and Ukraine.

   Demonstrative lesson: Nursing of a full-term baby in the maternity hospital and at home

On the 30th of March, 2012 at Rivne regional children's clinical hospital the senior teacher, specialist of the highest category, doctor-pediatrician of long-standing practice Rikhter Bogdana Mykolaivna conducted a demonstrative lesson the educational practice in Pediatrics with II year students of the department Curative Affair (9) on the topic: Nursing of a full-term baby in the maternity hospital and at home. During the lesson the theoretical items of the topic were fixed in mind, the influence of dangerous factors on the prenatal development of the bay was actualized, anatomical and physical characteristics of the full-term baby were considered, 10 main steps of the thermal chain were performed. S.Ye.Bukhalska, college methodologist, Guz N.F., teacher of Pediatrics, Popovych N.V., teacher of pediatrics, Redko N.V., teacher of Infectious Diseases visited this educational practical lesson.
