An exhibition of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory “Ukrainian Army of 1917-1921” arrived at Rivne region. In honor of the commemorative historical dates marked by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in particular, the 100th anniversary of the Holodnoyarivska Republic in 1920, the 100th anniversary of the expulsion of the Russian Bolsheviks from Kiev on May 6, 1920 by the Ukrainian-Polish troops, and the commemoration of the 130th anniversary of the birth of Vasyl Tiutiunnyk, buried in Rivne, the students of Rivne Medical Academy of groups 2 year “Nursing” (9) and 1 year “Pharmacy” (9) H visited the premises of Rivne Regional Museum of Local Lore together with the teachers Melnychuk N.M. and Kukurudza A.R. During the excursion conducted by the Head of the Department of Modern and Contemporary History, Ihor Marchuk, the students learned a lot about the struggle for Ukrainian statehood in 1917-1921. The information about the severe epidemics of typhoid fever, the state of medicine in Ukrainian troops and activity of doctors were of particular interest. The excursion proved to be extremely informative and enriched the students' historical knowledge and their patriotic moods.
